The 15th Annual Meeting of the AL CAPONE Latin America Crime and Policy Network, co-organized by Leme and held at FGV EBAPE in Rio de Janeiro, brought together researchers and experts from different countries to discuss topics related to organized crime, violence, policing, and public security policies.

The international workshop “Organized Crime, Illicit Economies and Public Policy in Latin America and the Caribbean,” held at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) by the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF), in partnership with Leme, FGV EBAPE, Fedesarrollo, and the Organized Against Crime platform (World Bank Group), brought together researchers, experts, and representatives from different institutions to discuss challenges related to organized crime, illicit economies, and the generation of evidence for public policies in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The meeting is an initiative of the international research network Evidence in Governance and Politics (EGAP), in partnership with Leme – Violence Reduction Laboratory, the Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration at the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV EBAPE), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), and Los Andes and EAFIT Universities (Colombia).
