Instituto 12 and Leme – Laboratory for Violence Reduction Host an Open Discussion on Violent Organized Crime and Public Security Policies in Rio de Janeiro and Latin America.

During the event, Joana Monteiro, director and cofounder of Leme, will interview Chris Blattman (University of Chicago), Benjamin Lessing (University of Chicago), and Carlos Schmidt-Padilla (UC Berkeley), internationally recognized experts in research on violence, organized crime, and governance in high-crime contexts.
